Baikouken (ばいこうけん) has all 3 of the main ramen types – shio, shoyu and miso ramen. But their butter miso ramen with corn (¥880) is their forte. It’s a rich miso, made even richer with that butter.
Butter Miso Ramen
The star pupil
At Baikouken, there’s the bonus of an incredible view of Tokyo station. They recently renovated the station too, the 1914 original brick veneer on the Marunouchi side.
Back to the ramen…butter and corn are ingredients normally reserved for miso ramen. But Baikouken also has butter miso with corn for shio and shoyu ramen (each ¥830).
There she is…
Vegetable Ramen
For vegetarians or veggie lovers, they’ve got “vegetable ramen” – available in shio, shoyu or miso. Any of these are ¥940 and include plenty of vegetables, especially cabbage. Below is the shio vegetable ramen.
Baikouken is on the 5th floor of the JP Tower / KITTE Marunouchi shopping complex. It’s right across from the Central Exit, Marunouchi side of Tokyo station.
