Menya Fujishiro keeps it simple - just one specialty: rich chicken ramen, done to perfection.
This cozy 11 seater ramen shop is closest to Meguro station.

Menya Fujishiro and Their Chicken Ramen
The magic broth in their tori paitan (rich chicken ramen) is composed of chicken from Daisen, Japan, roasted beef ribs, and some fish.

The broth is creamy, relatively thick and unbelievably tasty. To top it all off, fried garlic is sprinkled throughout the broth. They employ thin, straight noodles.
Chicken Tsukemen
The broth in their tsukemen (dipping ramen) is sweeter and not as heavy as the ramen broth. It’s composed of shoyu (soy sauce), dried sardines, shiitake mushrooms, kelp, and the same special chicken foundation. They employer thicker noodles here.

The broth shines on its own, but you can customize it with two condiments: lemon and ginger for a sweet, citrusy lift, or crushed garlic - if you’re not worried about your next date.
All their toppings are terrific but their soft chashu pork should take the top award.
Menya Fujishiro is right across the street from the West Exit of Meguro station. It’s located in the basement of an old school building, as pictured below.

In summary, for chicken ramen or chicken tsukemen, Menya Fujishiro doesn’t mess around!
